A company controlled by hotel and restaurant executive Keith Menin paid $21 million for a new mansion on the Venetian Islands in Miami Beach.
Seaview Properties, managed by Mark Gold in Miami, sold the 8,130-square-foot home at 108 W. Rivo Alto Drive to 108 WRA LLC, managed by Menin. GoldenCloud Capital provided a $12 million mortgage to the buyer.
The deal was brokered by Dora Puig of Luxe Living Realty. The price equated to $2,583 per square foot.
The home was recently completed on the 15,750-square-foot lot on Biscayne Bay.
It features six bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms, a pool, a summer kitchen, a bar, a balcony, a roof deck, and a dock. It was designed by Choeff Levy Fischman. Italkraft designed the interiors.
There’s been a surge in sales on the Venetian Islands over the past year as demand for luxury homes in Miami Beach increases.
Menin is the principal of Menin Hospitality, which owns hotels and restaurants such as the Gale South Beach, the Shelborne South Beach, Bodega Taqueria y Tequila, and Pizza Bar in Miami Beach. Menin is also a principal in real estate development firm Crescent Heights and a co-developer of the Natiivo Miami condo that’s under construction .
Menin has been especially active in the Miami Beach housing market of late. In September, a firm led by Menin sold a mansion on North Bay Road for $21.5 million. In January, another Menin-led company purchased a home — once owned by singer Cher — in the La Gorce neighborhood for $17 million. GoldenCloud Capital also financed Menin’s purchase there.
