Gaddis Properties sells Fort Lauderdale spec mansion for $10M

A spec mansion along the water on Sunrise Key in Fort Lauderdale sold for $10 million.

Fort Lauderdale-based Gaddis Properties sold the 4,232-square-foot home at 600 5 Key Drive to the Simon Elliott Revocable Trust, with Simon Elliott as trustee. The price for the off-market deal equated to $2,363 a square foot.

The home was recently completed on the 13,997-square-foot site. It has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. The developer was Fort Lauderdale-based Zen Home Builders.

Gaddis Properties is a commercial real estate firm founded by the late Jesse Gaddis , who also owned Broward County’s Yellow Cab.

This continues the surge in luxury home sales in South Florida as more wealthy people move to the area.
