The house next door to Taylor Swift’s Watch Hill mansion has sold for almost $12 million.
Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty said the home at 12 Bluff Ave. closed at $11.8 million.
The house, which overlooks the Atlantic Ocean, has nine bedrooms and nine bathrooms in about 8,400 square feet.
“The house is a gracious home in the quintessential shingled ‘summer cottage’ style with large porches that take advantage of the serene views and rolling surf; it also features a beautiful lawn that gently slopes to the ocean. Walk directly from your property to the beautiful white sand East Beach for which Watch Hill is known,” reads a description of the property.
The home includes an in-law suite.
The house at 10 Bluff Ave. sold for $17.6 million in November 2019. At the time, Mott & Chace said it was a record for a listed single-family home in Rhode Island.
Taylor Swift bought her mansion for slightly more — $17.75 million — in a private sale in 2013.
