DeMarcus Cousins hasn’t been the same player he used to be since leaving the New Orleans Pelicans after the 2017-18 season. It’s unclear what his future in the NBA is right now, but he’s still a solid rotational center most teams would welcome into their lineup. Even so, it seems the 11-year veteran has earned himself a nice payday after selling his Las Vegas mansion, per TMZ Sports . After selling the mansion that has been his home since 2017, Cousins walks away with a $1 million profit from the deal. Considering he’s currently a free agent, this is a good sign that Cousins will remain on his feet until he finds a new team down the road.
When DeMarcus Cousins originally purchased the home, he paid a hefty $6.5 million. By the time he sold the house, however, he ended up selling the house for $7.5 million. It turned out to be a smart investment by DeMarcus Cousins, who now has plenty of money to invest in a new home.
As for the house? According to TMZ Sports, the house is packed with everything you’d want in a dream home. It features a home theater, basketball court, massive pool and to boot, a waterslide. The mansion also has 12 bathrooms, 10 bedrooms, and a sports media room, among numerous other entities.
Quite the impressive house for whoever the new homeowner is. Who wouldn’t love owning their own private home theater and basketball court? DeMarcus Cousins will at least be happy he made some money will looking for his next NBA destination.
