Lox Farm owner sells Palm Beach mansion for $17M

Margaret Duriez , the owner of Lox Farms in Loxahatchee, and her husband, Franck Duriez , sold their Palm Beach mansion for $17 million.

The 8,940-square-foot home at 250 Palma Way was purchased by the Bellobella Family Trust and the Venice Family Trust, both listing Denver-based accountant James D. Hanegan as trustee. It’s not clear who owns the trusts.

Patricia H. Mahaney of Sotheby’s International Realty, the seller’s broker, declined comment. Overman Marley of Illustrated Properties represented the buyer. The price equated to $1,902 per square foot.

Margaret Duriez built the home on the 0.64-acre site in 2017. It was her homestead property.

The home features eight bedrooms, nine bathrooms, two half-bathrooms, a pool, an outdoor fireplace, an herb garden, and a loggia.

Lox Farm grows produce under the Certified Naturally Grown label. Margaret Duriez also runs Fresh Rx, which provides organic fruits and vegetables at no cost to low-income families.

She already has a new home. In May, Margaret Duriez paid $4.38 million for the recently completed house at 248 E. Lakewood Road, West Palm Beach.

As for the buyer, the Bellobella Family Trust and the Venice Family Trust teamed for two other Palm Beach home deals in recent months, paying $7.73 million for 245 Ridgeview Drive and $9.35 million for 231 Nightingale Trail.
