Robert L. Miller , the owner of the Jupiter Pointe Club & Marina, and his wife, Linnette C. Miller , purchased a mansion in the Bear’s Club golf course community of Jupiter for $10.65 million.

This was the biggest sale in the Bear’s Club so far this year, said the buyer’s broker, Vince Marotta of Illustrated Properties, part of Keyes Cos.

The 8,191-square-foot home at 150 Bear’s Club Drive was sold by 150 Bears Club Drive LLC, managed by Wendy Cabral in Palm Beach Gardens. The price for the off-market deal equated to $1,300 per square foot. The seller worked with Mark Griffin of Sotheby’s International Realty.

The home last traded for $7.4 million in 2016, so it gained in value.

It was built on the 1.25-acre site along a golf course in 2002. The home features six bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms, a pool, and a summer kitchen.

The Bear’s Club is a 400-acre community with two golf courses, including the Jack Nicklaus -designed Bear’s Club Championship Golf Course. It has just under 100 homes.
