Emergency services attended the scene of a multi-vehicle collision on the A47 between Wisbech and Guyhirn in Cambridgeshire this afternoon (August 9).The collision involved six vehicles and blocked the road in both directions between the A141 March Road (Guyhirn Roundabout, Guyhirn) to the B198 Cromwell Road at Wisbech.Ambulance services attended the scene to assess injuries.Cambridgeshire Police stated that roads will reopen once recovery has taken place but have asked people to avoid the area.At the peak of the delays, the AA reported delays of between 13 and 18 minutes in both directions on the major road.
