Miami Beach mansion with tennis court sells for $19M

A Miami Beach mansion with a tennis court in need of some resurfacing sold for $19.3 million.

The home more than doubled in value in about seven months in another sign of how waterfront home values have skyrocketed in Miami Beach.

Quantum Purple LLC, managed by Laurent and Nicole Groll of Sunny Isles Beach, sold the 5,364-square-foot home at 5970 N. Bay Road to Toronto-based Salter LLC, which is a Delaware-registered company without a managing member listed. Mirce Curkoski , Albert Justo , and Jacqueline Groll of the Waterfront Team at One Sotheby’s International Realty represented brokered the deal. The price worked out to $3,598 a square foot.

However, the listing by the brokers highlighted the size of the 30,800-square-foot lot along Biscayne Bay and the potential to redevelop it, not the features of the existing home. The brokers said they aren’t sure what the buyer intends to do with the existing home.

Built in 1941, the home has four bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, a pool and a dock. It is one of the few homes in Miami Beach with a full-sized tennis court, but the photos show the court could use some resurfacing.

The home last traded for $9.5 million in May 2021, so it was flipped for a huge gain.
