Bushey Park in Enniskerry has been revealed as the second most expensive Irish home openly for sale right now, despite recently having a 20 per cent cut in the asking price.
Five years ago, a list of the seven most expensive homes openly for sale in Ireland would have been dominated by Dublin 4/6, followed by the Dalkey/ Killiney belt and with some country piles included, now there are no south central Dublin properties in that top seven at all.
Indeed just one features in the top fourteen. In today’s top seven – priced between €10m and €6.9m, country estates outnumber Dublin homes by four to three and all three city properties are in Dalkey/Killiney.
