Miami Beach mansion more than doubles in value with $20M sale

A waterfront mansion on the Venetian Islands in Miami Beach sold to a company managed by a Plantation executive for $19.5 million.

The Florida Land Trust 33713, with Federated Cos. Chairman Jonathan J. Cox as trustee, sold the 4,833-square-foot home at 515 E. Dilido Drive to Parani Venetian LLC, managed by Michael Parker , the chief operating officer of Plantation-based NationsBenefits. His father, Dr. Glenn M. Parker , is the founder and CEO of the company, which provides benefit management for health plans.

The price for the off-market deal equated to $4,035 a square foot.

The home last traded for $9 million in 2020, so it more than doubled in value. That’s a reflection of the strong demand for waterfront property in Miami Beach as more wealthy people move to the city.

The home was built on the 21,000-square-foot lot in 1938 and expanded in 2004. It features four bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, a pool and a dock.
