This Cherry Hills Village home was listed for $4.3 million on July 1. A retired Denver Broncos offensive lineman who started in the 2014 Super Bowl put his Cherry Hills Village mansion on the market for $4.3 million this month.
Orlando Franklin and his wife Kiaana listed the 8,440-square-foot home at 41 Cherry Hills Farm Drive on July 1. The couple purchased the property for $2.6 million in 2019, according to property records.
Over the last two years, the modern farmhouse has been extensively renovated inside and out, according to listing agent Ty Dokken with Compass. The six-bedroom, nine-bathroom home’s new finishes include a gourmet kitchen, marble accents throughout, raised ceilings, and a finished basement.
Franklin was drafted by the Broncos in 2011 and started 70 of the 71 games he played for the team, including the Peyton Manning-led seasons from 2012 to 2014, according to ESPN. The Broncos lost to the Seahawks 43-8 in the 2014 Super Bowl.
In 2015, Franklin was signed by the San Diego Chargers and was released after two seasons. He played in one game for the Washington Redskins in 2017, but retired a year later, citing family and health as reasons, according to ESPN.
Franklin now hosts a weekday radio show with Sandy Clough on Denver sports radio station 104.3 The Fan.
Another former Broncos player, Brock Osweiler, also recently listed his home for sale.
