The two-bedroom apartment spans roughly 1,600 square feet and has retained many of its original features, including the only painted ceiling in the building, making the home “one of a kind,” according to listing agent Shereen Malik-Akhtar of Sotheby’s International Realty. Someone who wants to own a piece of history.” Sotheby’s International Realty High-end sales across London recorded a banner April, according to the latest report from property data firm LonRes.

In April, prime sales across the city jumped 21% compared to April 2019, the firm said in its analysis. The number of homes going under offer, meanwhile, soared 58% in April compared to the same time in 2019, and resulted in the busiest April for deal making since 2013.
