Tudor mansion designed by prominent Minnesota architect listed for $2.39M

A 7,546-square-foot home in St. Paul built by famed Minnesota architect Clarence Johnston is on the market for $2.39 million.

Johnston, whose work includes the Glensheen Mansion in Duluth, and Northrop Auditorium on the University of Minnesota campus, completed the home in 1925.

The six-bedroom, six-bathroom property is situated on more than an acre of land along Mississippi River Boulevard.

Signature details include ornate wood carvings and original wood burning fireplaces. Outside, the brick Tudor home is flanked by a swimming pool, hot tub and tennis court.
