SF mansion once owned by Nicolas Cage sold for $8.825 million

A Russian Hill mansion in San Francisco once owned by actor Nicolas Cage has sold for $8.825 million, according to the Real Deal. The gothic-style home is 5,832 square feet with six bedrooms and seven baths. The home features a modern kitchen, raised beamed ceilings, a library and a home gym. You’ll also find sweeping views of the bay that include the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz as well as the Oakland Hills. The adjacent lot was also being sold for an additional $3 million, but appears not to be part of the sale.

Mark Levinson with Compass was the listing agent. Cage purchased the home and the adjacent lot next door in 2006 for $9.4 million but sold both parcels less than a year later for $8.5 million, according to the report.
