Massive Paradise Valley mansion featured on national TV sold for $12M

After a 20,000-square-foot Paradise Valley home listed for $23 million in November 2018 couldn’t sell for that price, the owners lowered the price point and just sold it for $12 million.

In August, 2020, the house at 7046 N. 59th Place was listed for $13.99 million — a price the original brokers back in 2018 had suggested was more realistic.

Jean-Michel Edery , a Private Client Group agent for Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty, who listed the property for Bill and Char Hubble in late 2018, said he told the Hubbles it would most likely sell for no more than $11 million.

By April 2019, Char Hubble told Edery she listed the property with Tracy Tutor , a real estate agent on “Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles.”

“She told us no matter who sells it, she’s on the listing side at half of what we will get,” Edery said in 2020.

That’s when he walked away from the listing.

Chris Karas with Launch Real Estate was the Arizona real estate broker co-brokering with Tutor at the time.

But nobody was able to sell it until Scott Grigg took over the listing. Foreign buyer

The founder of The Grigg’s Group was the third agent to represent the seller, listing it for $12.8 million on March 15, 2021.

“We were under contract by the end of August, first part of September,” he said.

The buyer, who is from out of the country, needed some time to close, he said, with the deal closing on Feb. 11.
