Fashion designer sells Ivana Trump’s former mansion for $73M

Fashion designer Thomas “Tomas” Maier sold his Palm Beach mansion, which was previously owned by Ivana Trump , for $72.85 million.

The 12,352-square-foot home at 102 Jungle Road was purchased by Baloobeach LLC, managed by Antionette Parker in Boca Raton. JPMorgan Chase Bank provided a $51 million mortgage to the buyer. The price for the off-market deal equated to $5,897 a square foot.

It was Maier’s homestead property. On the deed, he listed an address at the Four Seasons Residences at the Surf Club in Surfside.

Maier purchased the home for $16.6 million in 2014 from Ivana Trump , the ex-wife of former President Donald Trump and the mother of three children with him. The gain in value reflects the strong demand for homes in Palm Beach as there is little inventory on the market, as well as the renovations Maier completed at the home since he bought it.

The home was built on the 0.77-acre lot across the street from the beach in 1926. It features nine bedrooms, nine bathrooms, four half-bathrooms, and a courtyard with a pool. Famed architect Addison Mizner designed the home, which is called Concha Marina.

Ivana Trump owned it for 20 years.

Born in Germany, Maier previously was creative director for Bottega Veneta. He also started a swimwear label.
