A trust in the name of Dr. Ralph L. Sacco , the chairman of neurology at the University of Miami’s Miller School of Medicine, and husband Scott Dutcher sold their mansion on the Venetian Islands in Miami for $15.55 million.
The 4,943-square-foot home was purchased by the Los Suenos Trust, with Diana Ross as trustee. It’s not clear who owns the trust. One Sotheby’s International Realty’s Shawn Frechette , who brokered both sides of the deal, declined comment.
The price worked out to $3,149 a square foot. That shows how strong demand has been for waterfront homes in Miami as more wealthy people move to the city.
Sacco built the home on the 10,500-square-foot site along Biscayne Bay in 2017. It was his homestead property.
The home features five bedrooms, five bathrooms, a pool, a balcony and a dock.
Sacco leads the neurology department at UM’s medical school and is the chief of neurology service at Jackson Memorial Hospital. He is a member of the National Academy of Medicine and was previously president of both the American Academy of Neurology and the American Heart Association.
