Waterfront mansion in Coconut Grove sells for $30.5M (Photos)

A mansion along Biscayne Bay in Miami’s Coconut Grove sold for $30.5 million.

The 11,024-square-foot home at 3550 Matheson Ave. was sold by 3550 Matheson Ave. LLC, managed by local attorney Greg Herskowitz , to the Matheson Property Trust, with Stuart T. Kapp of Kapp Morrison in Boca Raton as trustee. It’s not clear who owns the trust.

While the owner of the seller LLC wasn’t disclosed, the LLC listed its mailing address on the deed as 10830 S.W. 69th Ave., Pinecrest. That’s a mansion completed in 2020 and owned by Glen J. and Robynn Lerner .

As for the home on Matheson Avenue, it last traded for $19.75 million in 2018, so it had a strong increase in value amid the surge of luxury home sales in South Florida. The recent deal was brokered by Judy Zeder of the Jills Zeder Group at Coldwell Banker for the seller, and Oren Alexander of Douglas Elliman for the buyer, according to public records.

The price equated to $2,767 per square foot.

It was completed on the 21,223-square-foot site in 2014 with a design by Kobi Karp . It has five bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, a five-car garage, two-story gym, 60-foot plunge pool, media room, home office, outdoor fireplace, elevator, dock and Jacuzzi.
